Mrs. Sodomka to Serve on Workforce Advisory Committee

Pat SodomkaPatricia Sodomka, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Hospital Operations of MCG Health, Inc. was recently appointed to the newly created Health Care Workforce Policy Advisory Committee.

The Committee was authorized by Governor Roy E. Barnes and the General Assembly and formed by the Georgia Department of Community Health in response to health care workforce shortages. The Committee is charged with monitoring and addressing the ongoing supply, demand, distribution and mix of nursing, allied health and behavioral health professionals.

MCG Healthcare is the health system of the Medical College of Georgia and is comprised of MCG Health, Inc. and the clinical services offered by the faculty of the School of Medicine and the members of the Physicians Practice Group.
