MCGHealth honors our Breast Cancer Survivors

The women featured here represent the hundreds of breast cancer survivors treated each year at MCGHealth. They vary in age and years of survival, but regardless of the circumstances surrounding their diagnoses, they all credit their will to fight cancer and survive to their love of life. The women featured all encourage you to remember to check yourself monthly. The three key components in your power to fight breast cancer are monthly breast self-exams, annual mammography (starting at age 40) and yearly clinical exams by your physician.
