Insurance Plans and Financial Assistance
The MCGHealth Children's Medical Center and its ambulatory practice site accept a variety of insurance programs.
Parents should check their insurance policy to ensure that they have satisfied their insurance company's requirements. Failure to do so may lead to a loss of some benefits, making parents responsible for payment.
If a child does not have adequate health insurance or is not covered by any program, he or she may be eligible for financial assistance. Parents may call 706-721-3576 to determine eligibility before their physician appointment or admission to the MCGHealth Children's Medical Center.
For information about assistance after the child has been discharged from the hospital, call 706-721-2961, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
