The pediatric infectious disease specialists at MCG Children’s Medical Center work around the clock to treat some of the most complicated childhood infections and diseases.

Our doctors work behind the scenes and touch almost every patient in the hospital—from the tiniest newborns in the NICU to children recovering from surgery.

As the region’s only center to treat HIV positive children, our specially trained staff offers compassionate and supportive medical care and counseling for children and families affected by this disease.

The program also operates one of only two pediatric travel clinics in the state for children traveling abroad. For more than 30 years, our team has provided excellent care delivered with compassion.
