Pediatric Emergency Department

The Pediatric Emergency Department of the MCG Children's Medical Center is adjacent to the main Emergency Department. The MCG Children’s Medical Center is the region’s only pediatric tertiary care referral hospital and our physicians include subspecialists in all areas of pediatrics. The department has 13 beds, with two trauma beds. The Pediatric Emergency Department is staffed by pediatric emergency medicine physicians and has equipment and furniture sized just for children.
