Brian Bays, RN, BSN, has been appointed Nurse Manager of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Shock Trauma Unit at MCG Health System.

Previously, he was the APACHE III Coordinator at MCG Health System. Bays has13 years of experience in a variety of progressively responsible clinical and management roles. 

His Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing was conferred by the Medical College of Georgia.

He is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

He is an Evans, Ga., resident.
