Carolyn Bertling has been appointed Business Manager of Patient Care Services at MCG Health, Inc.  She assumed the position on July 16 after having served as an Administrative Fellow for the past year.

Before joining MCGHI, Bertling was a Graduate Research Assistant in the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa and a Senior Project Assistant for the University’s College of Medicine.

Bertling has a masters degree in Healthcare Administration and an MBA from the University of Iowa. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

Bertling is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
