Margin Allocation check presentationMCG Health, Inc. today transferred $10.1 million to the Medical College of Georgia during the MCG Health, Inc. Board of Directors annual meeting.  MCG Health, Inc. Board Chairman Don Leebern, Jr. (right), and President and CEO Don Snell (left) presented a check totaling $10,148,742 to MCG President Dr. Daniel W. Rahn (center).

“Every year since October 2002, MCG Health, Inc. has used 43 percent of its margin to support the education and research mission of the Medical College of Georgia,” said Snell. “Like most health systems, we face an increasingly challenging financial climate.  Nevertheless, our annual donation to the Medical College remains a priority.”

Over the past seven years, MCG Health, Inc. has transferred more than $70.5 million to the Medical College of Georgia.
