MCG RAISES FLAGPOLE
WHAT: A 60 foot
flagpole was installed on the grounds of the Medical College of
Georgia Hospital and Clinics. A new United States and Georgia state
flag will be also be raised on that flagpole.
WHEN: Friday,
September 28, 2001. The crane arrived at 1:30 to begin the
installation process. The pole was installed into the ground and
once the pole was set, the flags were raised according to proper
flag decorum.
WHERE: Near the
intersection of Harper and 15th Streets on the MCG Hospital and
Clinics campus.
WHY: To further
show the patriotic spirit of the country.
