Patricia Sodomka, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Hospital Operations of MCG Health, Inc. was recently appointed to the newly created Health Care Workforce Policy Advisory Committee.

The Committee was authorized by Governor Roy E. Barnes and the General Assembly and formed by the Georgia Department of Community Health in response to health care workforce shortages. The Committee is charged with monitoring and addressing the ongoing supply, demand, distribution and mix of nursing, allied health and behavioral health professionals.
